I don't know who built those pyramids,
or carved the face that's up on Mars.
The only thing that I know for sure,
there's UFOs in my back yard!
Don't know who killed the Kennedys,
or just what killed them dinosaurs,
the only thing that I do know for sure,
there's UFOs in my back yard!

"You're damned crazy!" That's what they say.
"You're damned crazy!", and chase me away.
"You're damned crazy, got no time for play,
no time for foolishness!"
"The man's crazy!", that's what they shout.
"The man's crazy!", they spread it about,
"The man's crazy, there can be no doubt,
that man he's full of it!"

I don't know who built them pyramids,

The only thing that I know for sure,
there's UFOs in my back yard!
I don't know what's beyond the rainbow,
or the place where all stars pause,
the only thing that I know for sure,
there's UFOs in my backyard!

"He's damned crazy!", that's what they cry.
"His minds hazy!", as I'm walking by,
"He's damned crazy," they roll eyes to the sky
"That man is plenty sick!"
"You're damned crazy!", that's what they say
"Your mind's hazy, your mind's gone a stray!
Your damned crazy!" they shake heads and say
"Best call a doctor quick!"

Almost every night I see them come and go.
These little points of lights these UFOs.
What the hell they are doing up there, I don't know.
These tiny little lights these UFOs
Some people try to say they're satellites,
and I do suppose they could be right,
but satellites don't go slow... fast... dim... bright...
zig zag... and disappear out in plain sight.

Oh, I don't know who built them pyramids,

I don't know if there's a Big Foot, Ogopogo, or a Santa Claus!
The only thing that I do know's for sure,
