More On The Kermit

 

On Tue 5/07/02 635 PM I received this e-mail .

 

Dear Posey,
My sister recently told me about a strange entity she saw late one night. I was asleep in the bed next to her and she was up with a stomach ache. She was sitting up and she looked over to the left and saw something about a foot and a half away from here. She described it as a four foot tall, skinny frog-like creature. It had large greenish-yellow eyes with slit pupils, and a very large head. She explained it cocked its head, looking at her, then noticed her looking back. It turned around in very quickly and ran into her dresser, disappering.

Please write me back with any thought you have on this strange creature.

Dear Amanda:

Yikes that is very much like the creature I called the Froggies as a child but then later renamed the Kermits after seeing the muppet frog Kermit.
Everything you described is much like the things I saw as a child in Virginia.
When did your sister have these encounters?
In my article the Kermits at my site I give the titles books that you still may be able to find or order I am sure.

These being are also spoke of as being child snatchers in some Native American cultures I am still on the search for the name and full story of these beings.
I also believe that Charlse Forts' Book Of The Damned One or Two also mention these beings.
Their is also a book abut Weird America I think it is called that speaks of these being too.
The way the creature seen by your sister disappeared into the dresser is very similar to the way these things just came through the walls of my grand parents house.
If you will allow me to, I would very much like to attach your e-mail as an update to my article about the Kermits.
I will not use your name and keep your e-mail information private, unless you tell me it is ok to post it.
Of course all of the copy rites to your experience will remain yours.
