One more thing today Tuesday 4/27/99. I had to go to the Supreme Court Building at Borough Hall for I had been called for jury duty and though I do need the sixty bucks they are willing to pay for me to sit on a jury.
However the pain in my back will not allow me to sit at home for eight hours straight for free so there is no way I can sit that amount of time even for pay.
I know this because I tried to do this last year and my back soon let me know I could not.
As a result I had to bring them information about my back to go taken off the list, now this was my second time doing this for the first time because of the terrible shootings in Colorado I thought it be best if I left my bag home but I forgot to take the papers I needed.
When I entered the court house I had to go through the metal detectors and of course as I always do I set it off and had to be held up and rechecked and off course it went of again.
When I did it last year I thought it was because of the steel tipped boots I wore so this year I wore walking shoes so I knew it was not that.
After a hand scan the culprit was found to be a foil gum wrapper and I was allowed to pass.
As I said earlier I had forgotten my papers so I had to return today this time I made sure that I had nothing ton me to trigger the device and wouldn't you know it, went off again.
I had to go out and return through the unit again, and again, finally the hand scanner was used but they found nothing on me and I was allowed to pass.
I asked the officer what could be doing it and he said,
"Well sometimes this happens to people for no reason at all."
I am now wondering if it is implants that trigger these devices.
